If you've ever wanted to build your career skills, advance in your career, earn a higher salary, gain professional certification or explore a personal interest, then you're in the right place. With one of the Southeast's most comprehensive continuing education programs right here in Columbia, SC, the time has never been better to enhance your career skills or explore a new interest.
Don't see the exact course you need? MTC Continuing Education can often customize its courses to better fit the needs of your organization. MTC's experts in curriculum development can also create a course just for your organization and teach it on site at your workplace.
Is Continuing Education right for you? If your immediate goal is to learn, improve or become certified in a specific area of your career as quickly as possible, chances are it is. Continuing Education offers courses and nationally recognized career certifications that can be completed in a shorter time frame than in an academic credit program. There are no placement tests to take, no transcripts to submit and you don’t need to apply to the college to take classes. While continuing education courses typically don’t earn college credit or transfer to other institutions, these courses are attractive to many students looking for a quick, intense approach into new careers. http://www.mtctraining.com/programs.htm
If your goals include earning a college degree, then one of MTC’s credit programs may be best for you. Credit students apply to the college, meet with academic advisors and progress through a Career Program or Arts and Sciences curriculum. Full-time credit students are normally enrolled between two and ten semesters while seeking their degree, diploma or certificate; and typically have more financial aid opportunities.
