The College for Financial Planning's CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER Certification Professional Education Program offered online through Gatlin Education provides instruction that prepares students to pass the CFP Certification Examination to become a CFP Certificant.  This College for Financial Planning prepares students in both theory and practice of personal financial planning.  This education program is registered with Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards Inc. (CFP Board) and successful completion of the program fulfills the education component for obtaining CFP certification.  Courses focus on the core competencies of financial planning fundamentals, including: financial planning process and insurance, investment planning, income tax planning, retirement planning and employee benefits and estate planning.  Textbooks and exam review are included.  This program is offered only through regionally accredited major colleges and universities.
