local, state, and national emergency management agencies and the relationship
with public safety and volunteer organizations and other government departments.
Relates structure and processes to legal requirements for disaster management.
Discusses current approaches to disasters and to emergency management program
management and Homeland Security.
Handling Medical Emergencies
Medical emergencies occur
suddenly and with little warning. Would you know how to confidently react if
someone needed your help? This course will identify common medical emergencies
affecting children and adults, help you recognize signs and symptoms, and show
you how to render appropriate care.
