Learn how a house and its ducts are tested for leakiness. Learn about
energy in the home and where to look for reducing air infiltration and
increasing insulation to reduce energy bills. This program also includes a

Some additional field work/training is extremely helpful but not

course has also been designed to help prepare individuals for various NATE,
NARI, BPI, RESNET, and other industry credentials for green building. This
course is NATE recognized for 28 hours of continuing education units (CEUs)
applicable to NATE recertification. Materials are included This online
certificate program is offered in partnership with major colleges,
universities, and other accredited education providers.

flocculation, how to perform a jar test, how to select the proper coagulant
and determine the dosage and how to adjust chemical feed rates.

This course explains the principles of wastewater disinfection with
chlorine, teaches the operator on how to control the chlorination process to
obtain the desired effluent disinfection and how to handle chlorine safely.

This course describes the various types of potable water filters and how
they work and explains how other treatment processes affect the performance

This course explains the principles of the trickling filter treatment
process and the operation of the process. The operator trains on how to
inspect a new trickling filter for proper installation, how to place a new
filter in operation and how to schedule and safely conduct operation and
maintenance duties.

This course explains the reason for fluoridating drinking water describes
how fluoridation programs are implemented and lists the compounds used to
furnish the fluoride ion.

channels, grit separators and pre-aeration. The operator learns how to

process.

This course identifies factors affecting the performance of sedimentation
basins, describes various types of sedimentation basins and how they work,
explains how to start up and shut down sedimentation basins and how to
operate and maintain a sedimentation process and basins.

factors that influence and control the process. The operator learns to
inspect a new activated sludge facility for proper installation, place it in
