This course is a prerequisite for EKG Technician, Medical Transcription, Cardiac Care Technician, CPT Coding, ICD-9 Coding, Medical Billing, and Phlebotomy. Web access is necessary. On-campus orientation and on-campus final exam. No required textbook.

Medical Billing
Now you can complete the Medical Billing course of your Medical Business certificate program online in an American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) approved class. This class will teach the student how to be proficient in billing in a health care setting and how to enhance reimbursement. Web access is necessary. On campus orientation and on campus final exam. Prerequisites: Medical Terminology, ICD-9 Coding, and CPT and HCPCS Coding. Mandatory orientation to be held on Harbison Campus.

Anatomy and Physiology
This 45 contact hour (no lab) on-line course is a general introduction to the anatomy and physiology of the human body. This course is a prerequisite for the Medical Business Certificate program. Students entering into any of the medical certificate courses/programs are encouraged to take this course to enhance their foundation of medical knowledge. Web access is necessary. Revenue Cycle Management for Healthcare Providers
