through 2012. CompTIA’s Security+ certificate is widely regarded as the
entry-level certificate for gaining access to this well-paying, in-demand
field. In this six-week course, you'll learn everything you need to know to
achieve your Security+ credential.
CompTIA Security+
This nationally recognized CompTIA IT Security+ online certification
training course helps prepare a student for the Security+ certification
exam. Students will learn about IT industry wide security topics,
including communication security, infrastructure security, cryptography,
access control, authentication, external attach, and operation and
organizational security. Other topics included in this course are
protocols, and Ethernet operations. Students will gain knowledge in
capturing, analyzing and generating IP traffic, how to exploit protocol
weaknesses and examine defensive solutions. Packet filtering, password
policies and file integrity checking are also covered. This online
program is only offered in partnership with major colleges and universities.
