Leadership Development
Leaders are the critical element in a high-performing workplace. Yet, many fail because they have not been properly equipped to handle the challenges and pressures of a dynamic environment. Midlands Tech wants to help you avoid becoming a statistic. Advance your chances of success by taking courses geared to improve your leadership and management skills.
Advanced Supervisory Certificate Program:
DDI: Coaching for Improvement
Individuals need to take responsibility for addressing unacceptable performance or work habits that impact others and the organization - but leaders must know how to help them do it. This course helps leaders conduct effective improvement discussions and provide the feedback and ongoing support people need to improve performance.
DDI: Helping Others Adapt to Change
This course focuses on the crucial role leaders have in effectively exploring change, introducing change, and helping others overcome resistance typically associated with change. Leaders learn how to conduct effective change discussions that minimize the potentially negative effects of change on morale, processes and productivity.
DDI: Resolving Conflict
Differences of opinion quickly escalate into an out-and-out battle. In the workplace, it's the leader's role to recognize the signs of conflict, and then to quickly choose the appropriate level of involvement to help resolve the issue.
Understanding My Management Style
Participants complete the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) and use the results to increase their self-awareness, discover the normal differences in people and to learn how to capitalize on their strengths and the strengths of others. You will discover that approaching problems in different ways is healthy and productive for your organization.
