Veterinary Assistant Certificate Program
Learn the aspects of veterinary medicine necessary to become a competent veterinary assistant. Emphasis is on receptionist duties, laboratory procedures, medical terminology and client relations. Upon successful completion of Part I and Part II of this certificate program, the student will have the knowledge necessary to qualify for an entry-level position as a veterinary assistant. All materials included.
Part II of this certificate program features in depth hands-on study of laboratory procedures, medical terminology, client relations and duties which will prepare the student for an entry-level position as a veterinary assistant. Prerequisite: Veterinary Assistant I.
Includes American Red Cross Animal CPR certificate.
