Floral Arranging

CEFLC-501 Floral Arranging Certificate

This 24-hour course in the fundamentals of floral arranging will give students enough basic skills to seek entry level positions in the floral business. Introduction to materials and equipment, principles of good design, color, specialized design, table and vase arrangements, silk grave arrangements, corsages, silk and dried arrangements, bridal bouquets, and career opportunities in the floral field will be covered. Assignments will be given and critiqued by the instructor. A materials fee of $95 will be paid to the instructor. The last class will meet for 6 hours on Saturday.

CEFLC-502 Floral Arranging, Advanced

Enhance the skills taught in the certificate program. Emphasis will continue on fresh floral arrangements but also touch on uses of artificial flowers. Prerequisite: Basic Floral Arranging course. A $55 supply fee will be paid to the instructor.

Everything you need to know to successfully select the floral decorations to make your wedding spectacular.

CEFLC-504 Holiday Floral Arrangements

Create beautiful holiday floral arrangements! Utilize traditional and novelty seasonal designs. This self-paced class (with hands-on help) will use artificial materials to make wreaths, door pieces, arrangements and gifts. Supplies are not included. A supply list will be furnished at the first class.
