Residential Design Using AutoCAD

 

Duration:                24 hours

 

Description:           Get a basic introduction to AutoCAD and then begin a house floor plan.  Using step-by-step tutorial lessons, the residential project is followed through to create elevations, sections, details, etc.  Throughout the project, new AuotCAD commands are covered at the appropriate time.  Focus is placed on the most essential part of a command rather than on exhaustive review of ever sub-feature of a particular command.

 

Objective:               Students learn to use the features of AutoCAD for residential design.
