File Management with Windows

Duration: 6 hours

Description: This course will emphasize file management in the Windows environment. The topics include saving and opening files in an application and using Windows Explorer to create and work with folders in a hierarchical structure. The My Computer feature will be used to format and copy diskettes. Students will learn to find files using the Windows Find feature and to preserve valuable data using the backup and restore commands.

Objective: Students will learn to organize files on a hard disk.
