prepares you to sit for the National Certification Board
for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork exam and then to
apply to the South Carolina Department of Labor,

Meet
the Instructor
Marion Davis is the program
coordinator and lead instructor for the Clinical Massage
Therapy Certificate Program at Midlands Technical
College. He is a 1975 graduate of the University of
South Carolina with a major in health and physical
education. He is certified to teach health, biology,
anatomy, physiology and kinesiology. He is also a
Certified Personal Fitness Trainer, Certified Sports
Nutritionist and a Certified Weight Trainer.
Mr. Davis is licensed as a Clinical
Massage Therapist in South Carolina and has
certifications in Clinical Neuromuscular and Structural
Bodywork. He also holds certificates of completion in
Orthopedic/Medical Massage, Medical Sports Massage,
Active Isolation Stretching, and Thai Bodywork. He is a
member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
He has been a classroom and
clinical instructor as well as program administrator at
other massage therapy schools in South Carolina, and he
has also operated his own private school.
