Black Belt Certificate
Gain the knowledge to effectively lead Six Sigma projects within your organization and serve as future drivers of organizational improvement. In addition to a firm grounding in organizational implementation and project selection, you will receive a comprehensive education in each phase of the DMAIC (define, measure, analyze, improve and control) methodology and the tools used in each of the phases. You are required to select and complete a project to receive Black Belt certification. This course is a 160 Hours, 20-day course.

This section details the initial phase of the Six Sigma methodology. Extensive workshop time is spent developing the key documentation required to create a firm foundation for the remainder of the project.

Measure
This topic provides coverage of measurement assessment and data collection. Key concepts include understanding measurement systems as processes. Core tools center on the assessment of measurement system accuracy, precision and linearity.

Analyze
This statistically intensive section of the Green Belt training provides the participant with a comprehensive array of tools used to drive to root causes and optimize processes. Participants receive a firm grounding in basic core tools as well as detailed instruction in advanced tools such as designed experiments and applied statistics.

Improve
This phase of the Six Sigma process is focused on selecting and implementing process improvements to achieve or exceed project goals.
